Are you hosting a sleepover? Do you want to make it so fun
that next time your friends will invite you to their sleepovers? Then read on!
Okay, so F, D, M and F always have sleepovers with each
other and it's super fun!! so anyway the first step is:
1. Ask your parents. If you ask your parents and give them
time to think about it, they will be
more likely to say yes, because you gave them time. If they say no, don't beg.
Just be really good and then ask them again later on.
2. Decide on your guest list. Talk to your parents about the
maximum number of people they will let you invite and whether they want your
sleepover to be co-ed or not (remember, the more the merrier). Consider
inviting an even number of people (including yourself) to make games easier.
3. Shop for any special things you may need. Don't forget
food, dinner, snacks, movies, soda, or anything else you might want. Be sure to
check in with any food allergies your guests may have.If you have an animal
make sure guests do not have allergies to any.
4. Write and send out the invitations. You can mail your
guests, email them, call them, text them, Facebook them, or even tell them in
person. Also, try looking for invitations that fit your party theme, so people
get a general sense of what the party is about. Remember to include any special
information, like what the guests may want to bring. Tell your friends in
private, so other people don't feel left out.
5. Prepare food. Decide what you are going to eat. Make sure
that you ask everyone what they like and if they are allergic to anything and
make sure that vegetarians are happy with their food choices. Pizza is always a
favorite, but you may also like fries, chips, or maybe some dips. For sweets
you could make cookies, brownies, cupcakes, go to the store and buy lots of
sweets and popcorn because people always get hungry.
(Especially D!)
Provide a variety of fizzy drinks are great also you may
need some water if people get sick of fizzy drinks. Remember to get caffeine
free if you don't want to be up all night. (But it is pretty fun seeing Fi get all hyper ahaha!)
6. Make the party fun! Turn up the music, dance around, play
board games, grab the popcorn, and vote on which movie your friends want to
watch. Set up your sleeping bags and get into your pajamas.
Style of sleepover. If you like to have fun, watch an action
movie, have a pillow fight then get the party started! If you like to relax,
try face masks, nail painting and a girly movie! Or you could make up ideas of
your own or roll everything into one! (or you can mix it up between nail
painting and action we do that and it's always really fun!)
7. Pump up the video games! We always play Just Dance 2014
on Fl and Fi's Xbox and when they come to D's house, they play the Wii.
8. Play some fun night-time games, like Murder in the Night,
MWA HA HA .Games are a really fun way to enjoy a sleepover. Or, tell scary
stories, or anything else you can think of. If someone is too scared, be nice
and offer another game you will all like to play. (D tells the scariest stories
ever and gets everyone begging for mercy!!!)
9. When you wake up, make sure to be nice but quietly wake
up all of your guests. (Usually we sneak our tablets and DS's to bed with us so
we wake up really late. NOT RECCOMENDED TO PEOPLE WHO LIKE SLEEPING!!!)
10. Ask if your guests are ready for breakfast. If most
people are hungry, tell your guests all their breakfast choices. (and DONT have
a milk fight like Fi and D did last time!!!)
